The best of South Africa is the country South Africa (SA), which is inhabitant with a diverse society, wildlife, beautiful coastal lines like no other, natural landscapes and sunny warm weather that lasts for most of the year.

As well as its rich political history depicted through the various history tours, museums and heritage sites across the country. Coming from the race separation of the past to what it is today a miracle of the Rainbow Nation. For a true first hand of African culture SA is where it’s at, as where else are you going to find a country with 11 official languages and of those 11 most are indigenous to the country. So many cultures all coming together to form the best of South Africa.

SA doesn’t only have the world renowned Kruger National Park with nearly 2 million hectares that features 16 ecosystems where you can spot the Big Five on a 4×4 game drive or walking safari. There’s also the oldest game reserve in Hluhluwe on Table Mountain with more plant species than the UK or New Zealand. And at iSimangaliso you can view the biggest land mammal (elephant), the oldest land mammal (rhino), the biggest sea mammal (blue whale), the oldest fish (coelacanth) and the most dangerous mammal (Hippo) all in the same reserve on the same day.

Not forgetting, SA’s ecosystems found nowhere else in the world Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden nestled at the foot of Table Mountain is the first Botanical Garden to preserve the country’s unique and indigenous flora. Kwa-Zulu Natals Tugela Falls is the second highest waterfall in the world found in the Drakensberg an area also known for its mountain peaks. While SA’s big city Johannesburg has the world’s largest man-made urban forest, Mpumalanga has the world’s biggest green canyon and go whale watching in Hermanus considered as one of the 12 best whale watching locations in the world.

The best of South Africa is also its natural landscapes there’s plenty of that in the Free State province small town of Clarens, which is part of the scenic Highlands Route surrounded by mountains of Rooiberge and Maloti Mountain. The Midlands Meander just outside of Pietermaritzburg but before the Drakensberg mountain range with rolling hills, streams, lakes, some indigenous forest, farmlands and pine plantations of the timber industry.
