Tourists travel South Africa (SA) for the sights, sounds and friendly people all aspects that add to tourism in SA.
In a land of spectacular wildlife, awe-inspiring adventure and unique heritage and culture and of course with an exception of the few, SA is home to warm, welcoming people. As a majority are eager to share their country with travellers from around the world, and therefore treat those who travel South Africa with hospitality.
Making SA a dream destination and this is something that has always been re-emphasized by those who travel South Africa. Whether in the past when members of the world’s largest travel and lifestyle social network, Where Are You Now? (WAYN) voted SA as a top dream destination in the site’s 2013 Dream Destination Competition.
Or even today, SA is still a dream destination for tourists due to many other factors such as, SA’s continual sunny climate, which makes for a warmer holiday option especially for those overseas countries with their snowy winter weather. And also due to the fact that it’s an inexpensive holiday destination for tourists with a favourable exchange rate for many international currencies. A dollar, euro, pound or yen can stretch far when converted into rands.
And the state of tourism in SA is constantly changing, especially now with the recent changes to Visa regulations for people travelling with under 18 year olds into the country. There’s a new unabridged birth certificate requirement for children travelling in SA.
And if you travel South Africa with minors, you’ll need to become familiar with this law if you’re planning on travelling legally with your children and remaining on the right side of the law.
