It is common practice for business and social organisations which are run on principals of transparency and accountability to hold Annual General Meetings (AGMs).The purpose of the AGM is to give members of a particular entity a report on the activities and finances for the previous year. It is arguably the only time during the year that members, shareholders and executives interact.
The Clarens Ratepayers Association is an entity living up to modern business norms. June 24th 2015 will present another opportunity for this Ratepayers Association to hold its AGM. Scheduled to be hosted in the Methodist Church Hall, the meeting will be electing new Committee members. It will also provide a perfect opportunity to discuss various issues facing Clarens.
